"Named after the first letter of each of the musicians' last names, WWW perform nine free improvisations on this 2006 CD. The conception of the group is closer to the thoughtful freedom of Paul Bley than to Cecil Taylor, making the music more accessible without being any less explorative. The three musicians often seem to think as one even when at their most spontaneous, making it obvious that this is a group with members who have played together often. Intriguing music with the whimsical "Mushrooms and Umbrellas" being a high point."
